This set is just the first disc of the first volume of Platinum Collection, attempted to be a successor to the far more successful Spotlight Collection.
Besides being general upgrades to HD, the only new short on this cutdown is "Lovelorn Leghorn". Needless to say, it's better to get the Blu-ray version of the first volume of Platinum Collection. Due to poor sales of both this set and Platinum Collection, this set has been long out of print and any plans for future volumes for this was cancelled.

It is highly not recommended to get this set for collection's sake. It consists primarily of double dips shorts or inferior versions of the best available shorts, or is a cut down version of a bigger set that generally have the same cartoons plus several others not included. If this set is old, most of the shorts might have been updated to better versions. Getting this set is not worth its value compared to higher rated sets, and should be avoided for collector's purposes.
