Released by Turner Home Entertainment instead of MGM/UA or Warner Home Video, this set attempts to function a bit as a documentary hosted by Leonard Maltin on how cartoons didn't target children back in the day, but rather the general adult audience. Given the choice of the shorts, it didn't quite get the point around. This is the last volume in the Cartoon Moviestars to be made available on LaserDisc. All of the shorts included here, including the MGM shorts, are restored on Blu-ray.

It is highly not recommended to get this set for collection's sake. It consists primarily of double dips shorts or inferior versions of the best available shorts, or is a cut down version of a bigger set that generally have the same cartoons plus several others not included. If this set is old, most of the shorts might have been updated to better versions. Getting this set is not worth its value compared to higher rated sets, and should be avoided for collector's purposes.
