Billed under the name of Canine Corps, this volume releases a handful of shorts starring dog characters. It is the final volume that was released on the first wave that ran from 1999 to 2000.
Even though K-9 is on the cover, there are no Marvin shorts included. Additionally, "Tree for Two" is double dipped here from volume 6, presumably as filler, since it is not listed on the list of shorts on the back cover. It includes "Buddy and Towser", the very first Buddy short to ever see a home media release. Outside of "Bosko and Bruno" and "Buddy and Towser", all of the shorts have since been restored on disc media.

It is not recommended to get this set for collection's sake. It contains significant amounts of double dips and/or inferior versions of the shorts. If this set is old, most of the shorts might have been updated to better versions. Majority of the shorts are available in a better quality in different sets or you will get a better value getting a higher rated set.
