The third entity of the Collector's Vault series; this one notably contains a wider variety of shorts with a whopping five new restorations and the first set of Harman-Ising shorts being officially released on a Looney Tunes Blu-ray.
This set is most notable for having its new restorations primarily being shorts featuring Native Americans, of which many were at the time barred from television for racial insensitivity. With the bar for allowed shorts loosened since the release of the Tom and Jerry: The Golden Era Anthology Blu-ray/DVD set and due to the Collector's Choice/Vault series being intended for adult collectors, these shorts were able to finally see a chance for release, let alone a restoration.
The set is primarily a highlight of Friz Freleng's filmography, with a bit over half of the set featuring shorts directed by him. They largely highlight a range of his output from early material to the commonly aired late Tweety shorts. The other main highlight for disc 1 is the inclusion of both the first Looney Tune and Merrie Melodie shorts, "Sinkin' in the Bathtub" (which was restored for the first time) and "Lady, Play Your Mandolin!". On the disc 2 side, the remaining shorts directed by Frank Tashlin during his final stint with the studio were released (the one-offs), and a few more notable members of the Twelve Missing Hares were released.
Like the previous volume, audio commentaries were bought back for disc 2, although the music/sound effects-only tracks are still omitted (the aforementioned music/sound effects-only tracks were present in the Golden Collection on "Goldimouse and the Three Cats", "Rabbit's Kin", and "The Windblown Hare"). These are still Golden Collection ports, although a selection are also missing. The missing commentaries are: "Conrad the Sailor" and "I Got Plenty of Mutton" with Greg Ford (with Chuck Jones for the earlier), "Holiday for Shoestrings" and "Pizzicato Pussycat" with Daniel Goldmark, "Puss n' Booty" with Jerry Beck, and "Rabbit's Kin" with Stan Freberg.
With the release of this set, every Yosemite Sam short (excluding cameos) has been released restored on DVD/Blu-ray, and every short released in 1945 are available officially restored on Blu-ray, making it the first release year to accomplish this feat. It also marks every Porky Pig color short (excluding cameos) being released on DVD/Blu-ray restored.
"Sinkin' in the Bathtub", "Slightly Daffy", "A Feather in His Hare", "Nothing but the Tooth", and "Horse Hare" are newly restored for this set. "Rabbit's Kin" and "Ballot Box Bunny" are upgrades from their previous Golden Collection releases, being entirely re-restored for the HD resolution with less DVNR. Any other shorts on disc 1 are from their 2020 restorations used for streaming and television, while the disc 2 shorts are previous shorts that were never made available on official Blu-ray releases with minor touch-ups.
