A promotional DVD that was bundled with the widescreen version of The Polar Express DVD in certain retailers like Walmart; it was never sold by itself. Surprisingly, for such a rather small set, it has a bit of backstory.
This set was originally planned to be bundled with a reissue of the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on DVD, but that never came to be, so it was moved to the aforementioned The Polar Express. In addition, consultant Jerry Beck played a hand in choosing the shorts here, ensuring they will be ones that are unlikely to show up on the then-ongoing Golden Collection series. What better choice to make than three Daffy/Speedy shorts; they had the familiar characters but comes from near the end of the studio's output and are often maligned by fans. Another cartoon that was deemed "irresistible" on the front cover, "Bartholomew Versus the Wheel", was also included on the set. None of the shorts were restored, but surprisingly two of these shorts would actually end up restored on the Golden Collection - "A-Haunting We Will Go" and "Bartholomew Versus the Wheel".
Although all of the shorts here are new to disc, resulting in a surprisingly high collector's recommendation score, it's scarcity makes it a bit hard to obtain.

It might be somewhat ideal to get this set for collection's sake. It may contain a good amount of shorts available in their best state, but contain significant amounts of double dips and/or inferior versions of the shorts. If majority of the set contains unrestored versions of the shorts, they will likely to be subject to being upgraded in future sets. You may get a better value getting a higher rated set.
